Little Twit County Commissioner Joe Martinez's Reelection Campaign by Geniusofdespair

Whilmer "Whilly" Bermudez and Rudy Herbello are both running against that bully County Commissioner Joe Martinez. Martinez has raised $64,327 so far. $500 comes from Armando Codina and there were other Codina connected contributions, i.e. $500 each from Beacon Village, LLC and AM Codina Beacon Lakes, LLC. I will look at more later, however, note how creatively the next group got around the $500 limit to give Joe Martinez $5,000 (and they also gave Barbara Jordan $4,000):

Doesn't look like any of them live in his district. Wonder what the family business is and can Joe the commissioner help them?
Maybe the family dog will give next.

Looks like the family are real estate and construction "entrepreneurs" who start up companies like popcorn. I wonder if they are tied, one way or another, into the Urban Development Boundary issues.

No, they have nothing to do with the UDB.. They are a great family. Look, you all need to relax on this. Activist groups, Unioins, special interest groups, businesses and business organizations etc., give in bundles all the time. Want to blame something, blame the system...

I believe they run MCM Corp who just recieved a hugh contract award at the Airport this week, despite the County Manager's recommendation to award it to a different company.

They might be a great family and it is done often, but that doesn't make it right. No Sir. It is a loophole and it should not be done.I don't respect people that go over the limit by fudging the numbers. You know these students, etc. don't have their own money, their dad is giving it to them. That is illegal. If not why can't I give $500 to a friend to contribute. It is illegal.

What students?? And please, you all need to remember that contributing to a campaign is everyone's given right. Like it or not, it is part of the process. Look at the highest office in the land, and all the contributions raised. Hillary's are more establishment types, Obama is securing the youth and the disillusioned through on-line contributions, etc.
