Miami River Day by Geniusofdespair

Each year the Miami River Commission, headed by Brett Bibeau, stages a river day in Jose Marti Park. They give free guided boat rides up the river to whomever lines up. There is food, booths to learn about the environment/water. There is free live music, lots of free pens, and other free stuff for kids and adults.

Nice event and it is attended by people in the neighborhood. Pictured at top is French Artist, Sauma, who designed the art for the event's T Shirt and Poster. And, Look at that tatoo peeking out in the other picture with the face painting!

The T Shirt was beautiful and a bargain at $5.00. Are there any left, who do you call. Much better than the Britto T Shirt at the Coconut Grove Festival.
