News out of Lynda's office is that Wendy will be running for office with Lynda's full support. I forgot what office it was...reader said it was Mayor of Homestead.

The Homestead Manager was there to talk about Storm Drains. Bell said the former city manager had institutional knowledge to share.
Lobos was not on the invite list. Bell sprung her on him after the fact.

The fact that I posted it does not mean I think it is wrong. I do wonder if the Homestead city manager was ambushed. I am not so certain he knew what he was in for when he agreed to a meeting. He is on vacation or I would ask him. I don't think anyone in that booth are crooks either.

When you talk to him, you will be surprised that he did well for the city by meeting Shehadeh and Bell. Actually save big $$$$$$$$$$$$$$
I knew about the meeting and worked on Shehadeh for months to agree to meet George.
There is more integrity on that table than the rest of Dade county combined.

Why was Lobos at the meeting person who said he/she set up the meeting? If it was about storm sewers she didn't need to be there.
Mike S is an accomplished Public Works Director. His replacement Julio Brea wishes he had Shehadeh's knowledge. A few weeks ago Brea received some contrived award from the city for sitting at his desk. I suppose once that happened George Gretsas knew he was compelled to call in someone who knew what he was doing.
Thanks Mike you have no idea how bad Bateman has screwed up Homestead. This guy is the worst Mayor in the United States. I also realize NYC's Bloomberg who just banned large soda and North Miami's OFFICIALLY CORRUPT Andre Pierre came in second and third. Bateman is an inspiration only to other mouth breathers everywhere still trying to master step 1 of the 12 steps.
It is my understanding that Lobos was there for a few minute.

The mayor of Cutler Bay wants to fire the City Manager, Steve Alexander and hire Curt Ivy in his place.
Ivy was the manager in Homestead, and was Steve Shiver boy, and he was very corrupt and was forced to resign.
I was told Shiver is behind. Shiver made Millions when Ivy was the manager
Mayor McDugal, you are doing well, stay away from Shiver and his boys.

He is an accomplished professional. Everyone who knows him knows that about him.
I know him and talk to him very frequently. Shehadeh refused to accept any job with government because he believes after his experience with the current city council there, No place for honest people and people with integrity to work in a public place.
He always points out to the special interest that went against him because he stopped the supply line to them when he became the manager, they are all Shiver's groups.
Homestead spent $250,000 on audits to find one thing corrupt about Shehadeh and they could not find any. They spent $600,000 on attorneys’ fees and could not get anywhere. They finally steeled with him by meeting all his terms. What does that tell you
Mike still cares about the residents of Homestead and their well being.
This man was what we should demand Public Servants should be.

Great picture smells like a set up. Bell and Bateman have been hanging out lately in the dark alleyways. George is a stand up guy and will never stand by an unethical boss. I wouldn't be surprised if Lynda set up the whole thing herself so Wendy could be the Strong Mayor of Homestead.
Bells dream is still to be the mayor of Homestead. She is making Lobos run so that she can get her grubby hands back into Homestead politics. If Lobos wins it will be like Bell was never ousted from her mayoral thrown. It will be Bells chance to have that second term as mayor since Wendy has always
been submissive to Bell.
Definitely seems like something Batmen would come up with to discredit the city manager with the other council members. He knows that a sure way to destroy the good relationship the council members have with the manager, is to make it seem that George has a relationship with the Bell.
Everyone knows that a relationship or association with Bell is political suicide in
Homestead.
