The only reason I can think of that Lynda 'Lybel' Bell didn't meet Scott in her downtown office location - where conference rooms abound: SHE DIDN'T WANT TO SHARE THE LIMELIGHT WITH HER FELLOW COMMISSIONERS. They talked about hurricane preparedness at a Starbucks at the South land? mall, looks like those around couldn't give a shit that their Governor was at the mall. Odd little group.

G.O.D. - I voted for Rick Scott because of his strong stance against illegal immigration and I probably will again. Alex Sink, like all Democrats, was soft on illegal immigration.

The Governor came to attend a function at the Miami Champers of Commerce, and he made the stop at the mall.
Lynda and all the mayors in the area were invited to meet with him there.

one of the biggest corruption stories is the fact they still have that city attorney. He costs the tax payers $2,000,000 a year.
what so corrupt about this law firm is the fact they advise employees to do something, then latter fight them against their own advice.
When the prior Manager Shehadeh was asked to leave for political reasons, he asked for an amount to settle his contract (which was written by the city attorney) with the city without a fight.
Richard Weiss agreed with Mike first, but later turned against him knowing that everything the city accused him of was falls because there are written advises from Weiss to Shehadeh.
Shehadeh's lawsuit against the city cost the city $850,000 more than what Shehadeh asked for, and later they gave Shehadeh $100,000 more than he asked for.
Please note $650,000 was Richard Weiss fees for this case.
The same thing is being done with Johanna's Lawsuit and now Robert Landen's lawsuit.
It is my understanding Weiss spent more than $150,000 in Johanna's case alone.
The bottom line, this law firm creates the problem and them collects cash from the city to
fighting it. that is corruption
Homestead and other cities should do what Miami Lakes did. Fire this law firm.

Faddis texted him as well, but that does not mean they were involved. she is still married....
That is part of what Homestead did and could not prove, and they paid for their mistakes and gave a letter clearing his name.
