NHK reporting that water cooling system at Fukushima Daichi reactor has failed.
Japanese TEPCO authorities say, "No immediate threat" to 3rd reactor, and that water temperature is adequate to keep cooling reactor for time being. "There are no concerns about sudden rises in spent fuel pool at present time." (5:42 EST)
Small tsunamis, less than 1 meter, reported at 6:49AM - 7:13. Tsunami warning: heights could rise as high as 3 meters.
