"Homosexualist "leader" loses credibility
trying to cover up hate and discrimination!
His "Official Statement" undermines his credibility"
(IS HOMOSEXUALIST EVEN A WORD?)
"The "head" of local homosexualist group "SAVE Dade", exposed his brazen bigotry and intolerance of Christians by trying to cover up hate and discrimination against the residents of Miami-Dade County, alerts today the Christian Family Coalition, Florida's premiere human rights and social justice organization. (WHAT?...BRAZEN BIGOTRY?)
C.J. Ortuno, who bills himself as being "anti-discrimination," issued an "official statement" released on the March 6th, 2013 Miami Herald blog calling County Com. Dennis Moss "a leader who wants to ensure every Miami-Dade resident is treated with the same rights and respect." Does C.J. really believe that? Why is he covering up the facts? The facts speak quite differently.
On Tuesday, December 4th, as CFC successfully got the Miami-Dade County Commssion to restore legislative invocations, or prayers, at all County Commission meetings, Moss lost all control and defamed his own community along with CFC members and supporters by disrespectfully calling prayer ordinance supporters "racist, anti-immigrant and h---phobic", whatever that last slur means."
VERDUGO CLEARLY KNOWS WHAT THE QUOTE MEANS. DENNIS MOSS GAVE EXAMPLES FROM PAST ENCOUNTERS WITH THE CFC, AND THE HISTORY OF THE CC/CFC, EXPLAINING FULLY HIS REASONING.
LYNDA BELL, JOHN DUBOIS, A GOOD BUT MISGUIDED JUDGE, AMONG OTHERS LIKE MIGUEL DIAZ DE LA PORTILLA AND ERIK FRESEN, WERE ENDORSED BY THIS VERDUGO GROUP.
HOLY CRAP! THERE IS MORE TO THIS PRESS RELEASE:
"Homosexualist "leader" C.J. Ortuno sadly lost all credibility by brazenly trying to cover up for Com. Moss' blatant act of hate, defamation, and discrimination at last December 4th's Commission meeting. It is deeply troubling and offensive that Mr. Ortuno would deliberately ignore the facts and dishonestly attempted to justify the unjustifiable.
Given the opportunity to do the right thing, Mr. Ortuno turned his back on his own community and betrayed the very values of equality and respect he so angrily demands for himself. Certainly, he does not speak for most of the members and supporters of the group he leads, who may not agree with CFC, but that certainly do not condone disrespect, defamation, or discrimination of any kind, against anyone."
OMG, HERE IS WHAT CJ OF "SAVE DADE" SAID THAT IS SO OFFENSIVE TO VERDUGO (SEEMS LIKE A VOICE OF REASON):
SAVE Dade expresses deep concern over the recent actions taken at the Miami-Dade Commission meeting by the Christian Family Coaliftion. It is truly unfortunate and highly offensive that Mr. Verdugo continues to target Commissioner Moss for his leadership on ensuring every Miami-Dade resident is treated with the same rights and respect. We also commend Chairwoman Rebecca Sosa for her efforts to maintain decorum and ensure that respect is shown by all when addressing the Commission. We look forward to the work ahead as SAVE Dade continues the fight to safeguard the values and rights of every resident of Miami-Dade County.
POLITICIANS WHY DO YOU GIVE VERDUGO CREDIBILITY? DO NOT GO THERE FOR ENDORSEMENTS. RENOUNCE YOUR CFC ENDORSEMENT IF YOU HAVE ONE. I LOVE CHRISTIANS. I AM A CHRISTIAN. THIS IS NOT CHRISTIAN SPEAK. CFC JUST HAPPENS TO HAVE THE WORD "CHRISTIAN" IN ITS NAME.
CJ Ortuño's Response today to this blog post.
YOU CAN LISTEN TO DENNIS MOSS - THIS VIDEO IS FROM THEIR WEBSITE - AND DECIDE FOR YOURSELF. I URGE YOU TO WATCH IT. I SAY "GOOD SPEECH DENNIS MOSS":

I didn't know about the Christian Families background with African Americans. Moss was awesome and brave to speak up to this group. Thanks for the video. Good to see for myself.
A homosexualist is someone who pushes the gay agenda, whether gay or straight. Can't believe you are not up on these terms.
I use the word gay. It would be gay agenda if I were writing that dopey preSs release.
Be sure to watch the video, you must learn to do your own thinking readers. If they take it down I will record it again.
Moss was talking about the Christian Coalition lawsuit in 2002, not the CFC (he said the CFC is an offshoot of the CC thus the racist history reference).
From Oxford dictionary:
(sometimes pejorative) Alternative form of homosexual...
Pejorative means derogatory. Keep the word out of your vocabulary Genius. I am happy you don't know the word.
If Michael Pizzi renounces his Endorsement from the CFC I will vote for him again. Do it Pizzi.
Isn't Bell on the CFC board of directors?
She was past president of a Right to Life group in Almonte Springs, now she is on the Executive Committee:
PRESIDENT: Carrie Eisnaugle frtl@embarqmail.com
VICE PRESIDENT: Dr. Carl Pflug frtl@embarqmail.com
SECRETARY: Christina Dixon frtl@embarqmail.com

That was Audrey Edmonson keeping thing orderly not Rebeca Sosa C.J.
Applause for Moss. Too many times in the past I have heard prayer at Commission meetings reference Christ. This is an affront to every Jew, athiest and non-christian in the audience. They have as much right to attend a government meeting without being disrespective as Christians. Thes "christain" groups do not have true christain values such as tolerence. Moss is correct!
"Christian Family Coalition, Florida's premiere human rights and social justice organization."
Really? Doesn't human rights include all human's or just straight couples & pro life people?
Christian groups, at least the reputable, charitable one's, embrace all, not just their selection. This guy sounds like a neo Nazi and I don't use that lightly.
This moron has the right to speak and every time he does he just digs himself in to intolerance, which is not a christian value!
And, the Bell thing is just as bad. She's supposed to be non partisan yet is not with the National Right to Life, not just Florida.
I truly believe when I look at Bell and this moron, they use religion as an excuse to just be bad, not to do good work for all.
This group needs to stand down. As Christians our roles are to live the Christian lifestyle ourselves, build the church, and spread the good news about the redemption and forgiveness of our sins through the blood of Christ Jesus on the cross. Once the good news has been delivered, it is up to the individual to decide if he believes or not. It is a freewill situation, everyone makes a personal decision. But in the end, we believe everyone has to account for their actions. As to our daily walk, Paul made it clear, "We are not trying to please men but God". (I Thessalonians 2:4)
As a part of a Christian nation, the Commission should have led the way on prayer before meetings, and no outside group should have had the opportunity to call the question for them. Prayer is a demonstration of humility, and by definition one can pray anywhere and anytime desired, to whatever God they believe in. I am reminded of my travels to countries in the middle-east where "Call to Prayer" occurs on loud speakers early in the morning, at noon, and in the evening. In Turkey, I was always awaken by it, and would get up and pray to God as I know him. But I recognized it was a Moslem country, and that was their custom. Americans don't realize how wonderful it is to have what I call "the silence", the absence of the call to prayer on the loud speaker. It would be news for many to learn that even now, after all these centuries since Christ's birth and resurrection, there is still much prosecution of the church in many of these countries. To even wear a cross around you neck, is to invite danger in some countries.
Within Christianity, the homosexual issue is a non-issue. Paul preached against it in the early church, Romans 1:24-29; Romans 2:1-12. It is simply viewed as sin. There is no mediation or reconciliation on this. But there is forgiveness through the blood of Christ. The African American community is a Christian strong-hold, and preachers who embrace homosexuality immediately lose their worshipers and their churches because it is contrary to biblical scripture.
I would strongly suggest that it is imporant for Christians to read the bible from cover to cover, not in little segments, but as a whole. The King James Version is the standard, but the New International Version might be an easier read. While there are many different levels to reading it, perhaps the first level is as a literary work, in the literal sense. Once this is done, many things can be clarified and put in context for the remainder of one's life.
I thought you'd post the video that led to the CFC's latest tirade.
They used the citizens presentation at a BCC meeting to demand an apology from Moss. They were told ahead of time not to speak directly to any specific commissioner and got Sosa in hot water with the rest of her colleagues by giving this guy a forum to attack Moss personally.
Moss simply read postings from the CFC website where they called Republican Rep. Ros-Leightenin a "homosexualist"
Verdugo acted like a spoiled brat and the chair had to alert the seargent-at-arms.
Quite a stupid scene from a bunch of hate-filled "christians."
Give me the date of the meeting and I will post the video...thanks.
Get over it Verdugo. I saw Bishop Victor Curry dissed at a County Commission meeting. He walked out... He turned the other cheek he was not vengeful like you.
This is the link to the 3/5 BCC meeting

This rant starts a little after 1:22:30.
I think Sosa really knew better and should have allowed Moss more time to refute this hate monger Verdugo, which is what he is.
Yes, I will let Moss voice my opinion here because he is right and speaks for many in this community.
Verdugo needs to get a life or file suit. If he files suit for slander or defamation, I'd love to be a fly on the wall while he is in deposition explaining how they are the "Premier" organization of anything other than being extremist jackasses!
Candidates be warned, this county does not like exclusion. This is how Bell & the GOP positioned themselves to lose Dade County in 2012. By affiliated or seeking an endorsement form this ASS or his group, you are telling us you are as intolerant as he is.
After watching this tape, I'm more furious than I was reading this post.
