State Rep. Daphne Campbell Has to Go. By Geniusofdespair

Alix Deslume
State Rep. Daphne Campbell was under investigation for Medicaid Fraud, may still be. She votes wrong on just about every issue, she has to go. She sides with Republicans on restricting women's reproductive rights and has threatened to switch parties. Campbell went to an event at the Christian Family Coalition -- Anthony Verdugo. Ick to that.

Don't vote for Daphne Campbell people in State Rep. District 108. A much better bet would be Alix Desulme.
Alix  earned a Bachelors of Arts degree in Organizational Leadership/Marketing in 2001 and a Masters of Science in Exceptional Student Education in 2003 from St. Thomas University. He is currently going for his doctorate. He is green, having worked on projects with Audubon and Operation Green Leaves. He has been active in North Miami politics for years. He earns a living in Marketing/Public relations.

Also running is Pat Santangelo who is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts. He was a Public School Teacher for 10 years and he has 27 years as a State Trooper, Florida Highway Patrol, Including 10 years as Public Information Officer. He is a member of the Metropolitan Planning Organization Citizens Transportation Advisory Council.  Pat Sanangelo, is the long shot (he is white in a black district).

Just remember everyone living in District 108, anyone but Daphne Campbell. She is bad news.

I met Pat Santangelo last night at our housing association meeting. Nice guy, stayed the entire two hour meeting. Impressive resume and nice guy. Had a young black guy with him as his campaign help.

He said http://www.patsantangelo.org/ is launching soon.

His biz card says he 'won the purple heart for injuries in the line of duty received during gunfight with an armed robber'

He was also very committed to cleaning up 79th Street. A big push is underway to bring it to the new standards of upper Biscayne Blvd....

Santangelo seems good, but I think I'll vote strategically for Desulme -- the better to see Campbell out the door.

By the way, if anyone is in the heartbreaking decision to place an elderly family member in an ALF - put this at the top of the list when choosing! Daphne Campbell or anyone associated to her must not be in anyway affiliated with that ALF! She endorses neglect and torture of the elderly! Ok, that maybe overstating it, but she and her clan are up to absolutely no good when it comes to taking care of those who cannot take care of themselves.

Santangelo is the best candidate, vote for him.

The district has changed considerably, reaching down to Buenavista, and less ethnically Hatian communtites.

Secondly, Santangelo is known in the community as a friend to the Hatian populace.
