If we want to maintain the status quo and we don't want to begin paying for your personal contraception, how in earth is that regulating your privates? What a skewed way of looking at the world.

Who is the "we" paying for a woman's contraception, Chauncey? Do you own a healthcare corporation? Are you a CEO?
As far as our tax dollars going towards contraception, I would much rather pay for women to prevent a pregnancy than have her have an abortion. But Republican mostly want to take away a woman's right to choose, too, and if a woman does exercise her right to choose, they want them to jump through all sorts of hoops before they can get something that is legal. So, no contraception, no abortion, or is it that they don't want women to have any sort of sexual satisfaction.
Sex is one of our basic needs, like eating, breathing, elimination, etc. We use our bodies to have sex, so it falls under our healthcare needs. As a society, we have a duty to regulate our reproduction so a child can be born into a family with the emotional and financial abilities to raise that child. Planning parenthood is a basic health necessity.
Chauncey, if you are a man, you need to get with the program. Birth control is your responsibility too. If you have a woman, make sure you can satisfy her in all the ways she needs to be satisfied. If you are a woman, there's a website I can direct you to.

Ummmm ... if you want to receive your contraception for "free," who do you think is paying the bills?

Just like there is no free lunch, there is no free contraception.
