In 2006 41% of students at Belere tested below grade level in math. In 2007 51% of students were below grade level in reading and 49% were below grade level in Math. In 2008 31% were below grade level in reading and 37% in math.
So, Erik Fresen, remind me - Why are you such a promoter of Charter Schools (besides your family owning some of them)?

Could someone please explain how the school could go from an F school to an A school in one FCAT exam period? Does anyone else suspect that cheating occurred?

Well again we see how our fellow citizens get screwed again, this time with a charter school. The owners of this school want us to beleive that the grades jumped from a F to a A. I guess they used the same system that the school board used at Edison High and other schools which turned a F grade into a passing grade. Well the reason for the jump in grade has nothing to do with the students learning ability because score the kids received because I beleive that they were changed not once but numerous times whenever necessary. Lets get a totally independant look at the tests and how they were graded and you will see how much those schools had to cheat to get those high grades. Does anybody really beleive that a F school for many years can change in one year since the school system has for years told us that those schools have a majority of students who dont speak english and its a inter city school so dont expect high scores from that type of school. If fraud is found than the teachers involved should be fired and arrested. Speaking about the school system and the state atty's office what has been done by both organizations to all those school bus drivers who committed fraud against the county health system which by the way is a criminal act. If they all have not been arrested and fired than its business as usual here in Miami because no one has the balls to fire or arrest up to one hundred individuals who were reported to be involved by the miami herald. I say that each driver who joined in the criminal fraud should be arrested and fired and never be allowed to work for the county or school board ever again.
