Doesn't the new mayor regard deep
South Dade as part of his county.
What's wrong with having another budget meeting at the Cutler Ridge Gov Center? We are interested too, Mr Mayor. Comm Bell should be on top of this I would hope!!

Your commissioner Bell is a "Tea-Party" that only cares in taking whatever little you have - good luck with her!

Why does she not cut her staff, salaries, plush fund and use the government offices downtown instead of wasting monies in another office that looks like a palace?

This is what happens when people do not go out to vote -
bye the way do you see her "grand posturing" talking down to everyone when she is on the committees and commission?

get involved!

Lynda Bell doesn't care about agriculture Riley. Did you read her quotes today in the article by Christina Veiga?

Please Bell does not care about environmental issues, safety, fire, police or any government function -

She just cares about herself and what she can get out of her position - if people in Homestead and everywhere in the County can not see Bell for what and who she really is - we are all in deeper problems than we think.

She and all the rest of the Commissioners need to go - if they truly want to do good - just ask yourself - why not term limits???

Riley I added your observation to the beginning of my post.
Thank you for bringing this glaring issue up.

Apparently South Dade and Redland have continued to be charterized as non-important or land waiting for development. Otherwise a meeting would have already been on the agenda to address our concerns.

'm sure contributions were make for Mayor Gimenez, and Bell from those who live and work in South Dade. Comm. Moss should have jumped in a insisted on a meeting in South Dade as well.

I've said all along, action speaks louder than words.

Elections will be around the corner -
Make your voices really heard by going to VOTE - too many people complain but not enough take action and the only way to take action is when you go to VOTE!

Riley's complaint is ridiculous. Palmetto Bay is next door to Cutler Ridge. Their government centers are about 4 miles apart.

There are more than 30 cities in Miami-Dade. Should they hold a town meeting in every one?

The Robaina supporters will never stop their whining.

he is the INTERIM MAYOR. the people of Miami-Dade County voted for the lesser of 2 evils. Carlos is just a place holder until the 2012 elections, where the residents of Miami-Dade County will have a REAL opportunity to vote for their Mayor.

My vote and my familes vote go to Joe Martinez, he is my commissioner and he is always on top of the issues, i can only imagine what he will do when hes Mayor!

Joe Martinez is my Mayor!

You posted the same comment on 3 blogs...the other two went in the trash. God forbid we would get that idiot Joe Martinez as our mayor. Keep him in your district, he does enough harm to the rest of the County there.
