She is not running for Mayor. In this video she speaks about her support for 2 four year terms for County Commissioners. I don't think she knew who I was, she was very polite.

Can I dream about Bell running for County Mayor? Not because I like her, but I'd like our Dist. 8 Commissioner to have a few more brain cells and get the GOP party hacks out of the taxpayer funded office (for a position which is supposed to be non partisan).
As to Sosa - I didn't think she would, not with Martinez running.
Thank God! This woman is ALSO part of the Sergio Pino posse and this is the last person we need in the mayoral office. She's Marco Rubio's "official political godmother" -- along with that crook on Radio Mambi, Marta Flores, one of the most dangerous political asskissers in this community who, by the way, charges a pretty penny for her "kisses." This is not news; search her name in the Herald archives and you'll find the article where she was exposed by the previous Herald "administration."
Lets not forget she voted for the Marlins ball park. She represents everything that is wrong at the County Commission and she needs to go either recall or not seek re-election but go she must.
Sosa is the master of not taking a position on anything controversial. We must give her credit. She does her homework and skillfully argues both sides of an issue. In her ideal world, every decision would be deferred for further study. This county needs a leader, not a fence-sitter.
OMG, Genius,those earrings drove me crazy. Why can't the women in politics dress a litlle more businesslike? This one looks like a tacky abuelita from West Miami. Not only is she already a scary character, she makes every effort to look the part!
COME ON G.O.D. throw me a bone put a a post about good time Charlie settling his lawsuit with David Byrnes of the Talking Heads. Mraco indringing the Steve Miller bands rights and John McCain using Jackson browne's material.
I like Sosa. She is warm, gracious,friendly, open to ideas, good to constituents, ...a lovely person. Her voting record has been excellent ...her only ONE mistake was on the Marlins stadium. She voted the right way on everything else. No one is perfect, but she is as goodas it gets! (the complete opposite of The Vile One.
