Pepe Le Pew Diaz's Memo Says Let's Wait On Charter Change. By Geniusofdespair

Norman Braman, they have not learned their lesson. We need another recall. These commissioners just don't get it. Any excuse not to change the charter.

Read this memo from Pepe Le Pew. If any of you believe he wants to institute procurement reform and implement campaign finance reform, I have a bridge I can sell you. What he wants is the charter changes that we have on the ballot -- the three good ones -- off the ballot. Once off they will play a waiting game with voters, distracting us with meaningless meeting after meeting until we forget about the charter because we will all be old and feeble.

We don't need no damn Town Hall Meeting to help us, we want these 3 charter changes:

1. Make voter ballot initiatives easier by eliminating a requirement that signatures be notarized; 2. Allow the Charter Review Task Force to bring proposals approved by two thirds of the panel directly to voters; and 3. Put the Inspector General’s Office in the county charter, in a bid to help insulate it from commission meddling.

This memo of Mr. Le Pew is one big STALLING TACTIC.

Please, don't insult the most lovable little skunk ever. He is smarter than any of the members of our County Commission.

Messieur Le Pew never stunk half as bad as Pepe and his 12 amigos.
