For all who don't remember, Pat Wade, our favorite lady of Redland, was the one who started the ball rolling on this a few years ago in regard to Seijas. I want to thank her, her friends in Redland, Vanessa (Miami Voice) for picking up the ball and running with it, and Pizzi for continuing his fight.
This has been one of the greatest political moments in Miami Dade (well, I guess that's according to what you supported).

As to Alvarez, I could only hope all his administrators, no matter what department they crawled in to, resign or take a salary reduction. Let's start with Burgess!
Congratulations to Miami Voice and EOM. I feel vindicated; we did not do it but i believe we did set the stage for this success. Voters, please be careful who you elect. Read past the glossy mailer, pay attention and look at track records. I hope the Miami Herald has learned a lesson about not supporting bad candidates, corporations and builders. This is a wake-up call to corrupt poiticians everywhere. Seijas has put so many good people, myself included, through hell. Now go away Seijas. Pat wade

Terry and Natasha misspent and misdirected more of the County's money (including staff time) on their pet projects than you would like to know.
So, now - celebramos! Let's celebrate the moment!!!!

Personally, I was not in favor of recalling Alvarez, but it was worth the price to get MackTruck Seijas out of our County government.
