US Supreme Court Justice Clarence ("No One Listens To Me Anyways") Thomas does not speak for me ... by gimleteye

Launching on Wednesday, Progressives United is an attempt to build a grassroots effort aimed at mitigating the effects of, and eventually overturning, the Supreme Court's infamous Citizens United decision that opened the floodgates to corporate spending in the U.S. electoral system. In addition to online mobilization, the political action committee will support progressive candidates at the local, state and national levels, as well as holding the media and elected officials accountable on the group's key priorities. Listen to the following Colbert report and decide whether to join Progressives United.

What a rotten boil of a person Clarence Thomas is, and sadly he is forever linked to Thurgood Marshall memory.

“None of us got where we are solely by pulling ourselves up by our bootstraps. We got here because somebody - a parent, a teacher, an Ivy League crony or a few nuns - bent down and helped us pick up our boots.”

Thurgood Marshall (The only Black Supreme Court Justice in my eyes.)

Sorry, if and when Unions get out of political contributions/endorsements/protesting budget cuts - I'll support the Supreme Court decision on Corporations. If Unions would be barred from the above, then I'll happily write a check to this PAC.

The Citizens United decision has the same rules for corporations as for unions. Please be fair when describing the decision - it opened the flood gates for BOTH unions and corporate direct campaign spending. But don't cry for the unions - they are already are the largest campaign contributors in America.

Complete creep. Give the job to someone who wants to do the work.

I am thankful that some of your readers are informed on the situation regarding the CU ruling. Unions can donate, but corporations can't?

One should only look to Wisconsin to see how unions can paralyze government. Corporations can do the same thing.

There needs to be some consistency in your opposition and not just a racist rant against Clarence Thomas. (I throw the term racist in there because this is what happens to conservatives who attack Obama on his positions).

We get it you hate unions but to call Gimleteye's post a racist rant against the worst 'supreme' in modern history makes you an aashole.

Favorite Thomas joke: "thou shalt not share thy rod with thy staff".

I think he's a creep.
