One Little Story From Vile Natacha Seijas' Past. By Geniusofdespair

It was around 2002 when Vile Natacha Seijas (VNS) was appointed the Chair of the Governmental and Environmental Operations Committee by, County Commission Chair at the time, Barbara Carey Shuler. Environmentalists were in a panic. When pressed Carey Shuler said to the effect, maybe she will learn something (Barbara: She didn't). With Natacha at the helm, it was hard to get anyone from environmental groups to do public comment. They remembered her beating back environmentalists during the Homestead Airport debate. All environmental issues now came before this committee so it was quite a problem for us.

There was something coming up about a 20 year water plan and we got a woman to speak at Natacha's Committee. She had recently been diagnosed with Graves disease and it was doing a number on her memory so she wrote out everything she was going to say. Index cards in hand, she got up in front of Natacha's committee shaking with fear (about half the people I know that get up at County Commission meetings are very nervous as they have never done public speaking or have limited experience). Most County Commissioners know that the public is nervous and they are very respectful. They let the people speak their two or three minutes and if they have a question, the Commissioners ask it at the end (they might not listen, but they do let them speak).

The woman began her little speech in front of Natacha's Committee and VNS interrupted her with a statement and a pointless question. Natacha, seeing she rattled the woman, kept on doing it. Each time the woman got a little more confused as she tried to answer Natacha's questions, finally by the middle she said: "I am losing my train of thought." Her speech got all garbled and Natacha, apparently enjoying the encounter, just kept interrupting with snide remarks and taunting the woman. What VNS was doing wasn't lost on us who knew her in the audience. It probably went over okay on TV to those who didn't know Natacha and didn't know the questions were pointless. The woman left the podium near tears.

After, to the credit of County Staff, and even the press, many went up to her and apologized for Natacha Seijas' behavior. It was unacceptable. So when Seijas says she listens to the people, she doesn't. We couldn't get hardly anyone to speak at the Committee meetings she chaired. I have seen Jimmy Morales and Dennis Moss stop her from doing this sport of hers to public speakers at Commission Meetings. I guess with all the fun gone for her, she then took to getting up and walking off the dais when environmentalist spoke at commission meetings. This is just one example of what she does.

Natacha Seijas' history by her own account.

This photo was taken in the courtroom when Natacha Seijas confronted me and told me to STOP taking pictures. Her hands are going up to block my cell-phone. A Miami Herald reporter witnessed the encounter.

Carey Shuler should be ashamed to be affiliated with VNS. What the Vile one did and continues to do today, is intimidate the public, scorn anyone who disagrees and is just downright nasty.

Her decisions on Incorporation and Annexation are part of why the County budget is so bloated. Areas still aren't allowed to incorporate - thanks VNS. Well, Moss helped there too, so it's not all on her.

RECALL NATACHA SEIJAS. Hialeah, wake up, she's not your friend either. You're her feeding trough and are being used as puppets.

Shame on the Unions for spending money to protect this clump of dirt. Espeically SEIU.

These are the things most voters don't know about her. The media should be enlightening the electorate, thanks for all you do.

Homestead's Steve Bateman does the same thing and he is a dem. He has a touch of Napoleon complex as well. Personality traits are very hard to change, once mean always mean.

I think your photo smacks of entrapment. Word is the photo was taken close to the lunch hour and you were wearing your manatee costume. Let's be fair. You know only too well that the vile one cannot resist snacking on some, ummmm, manatee in the afternoon.

It must have been scaring seeing her come at you. You must have been thinking, oh Lord, I hope that I brushed after breakfast and do not have the smell of food on my breath.

I am thinking this is papal-like. She appears to be blessing you.

Assuming it is legal to take photos in a Florida courtroom, I would have told Natacha to go sh!t in her hat.

Stop Taking Pictures!-VNS.

I love how the digital age particularly gets under her skin.

Commissioner, love the suit!

I just contributed to Miami Voice. They need the money. Give them a buck or two - it will go a long way.

do you have to be in her district to give?

Of course not. Money comes from anywhere.
