Check out Daniel Shoer Roth's article on his trip to India (it is also his
latest installment of his spiritual journey) in the Miami Herald today. He snapped this photo (I cropped it) in Amristar, he calls it "the city of turbans and beards," you can see why. One can only wonder how his neck supports that thing. Carmen Miranda would have had a run for her title of 'bearer of heavy head-dresses' if she ever went to India.
