Rolle: Stackhouse's "Good Deal". By Geniusofdespair

Don't see video...use this link
This video of a 2007 County Commission Meeting is pretty funny, and sad when you consider they are spending our tax dollars. Crossstreetbroadcast made it. Yes the broadcaster has some repetition in the video which grates -- but once past that annoying part -- be patient -- the video is worth viewing. Martinez, Sorenson and Gimenez come off sounding good, with spot on questions/comments. Burgess, Moss, Jordan and of course, Dorrin Rolle sound like idiots to us Monday morning quarterbacks. This is how we got ripped off folks. Watch the bad deal's approved by our fearless leaders. VOTING NO ON STACKHOUSE'S GOOD DEAL: Katy Sorenson and Joe Martinez. Natacha Seijas was absent. And, note to Crosstreebroadcast, stop with the repetition, we got the point the first time!!

What are the chances Rolle wont get re-eleted?

What are the chances to recall Moss?

Here's a waste of taxpayer dollars...Did anyone know Moss has a satellite office in Florida City? The office is empty however the rent is being paid. I am curious to find out what the rent is, and if he claims employee salaries? Plus I'm sure utilities are being paid...Genius could you investigate?

Would also like to know if the other commissioners have satellite offices?

All the commissioners have satellite offices in their districts, which makes sense if their district, like Moss and Sorenson are far from downtown. Some, however, have more than one. Moss has 2, S. Dade Government Center and FL City. Sorenson had one. More than one in the district is too much. Even the mayor has at least one satellite office.

Satellite offices make sense, citizen should easily be able to contact their commissioners face to face. Downtown is too inconvenient.

George Burgess is the highest paid county manager in the world at $425k/year. The Poinciana Industrial Park debacle is one of many Burgess failures that demonstrate how he is a poor public administrator and not worth 1/4 of his outrageous salary.

Mayor Alvarez has promised that if he is recalled, Burgess will be gone, too. If that's not a great reason to recall the mayor, I don't know what is.

I cannot believe my eyes.. you wrote something not negative about Martinez..

If people get off their asses and campaign for Monestime, the chances of Rolle losing are great. If people sit in their homes and complain, then Rolle wins. It's up to the voters, the donors and the good people of Miami Dade County to win this on for ALL the people of the county.

Every once in awhile, Martinez gets it right.

If they were going to put in all that repetition, they should have made it into a rap song. It would have played better. Yo.
