Eye on Miami will be more important than ever! By geniusofdespair

According to the Sun Sentinel:

"In the Miami Herald newsroom, seven full-time and two part-time positions will be eliminated; in the El Nuevo Herald newsroom, four full-time and two part-time positions are affected."

This sucks. Why don't some of you pay for a newspaper and keep these reporters working?

I already have home delivery and I would pay more because I love having a paper that is a paper paper.

We need investigative reporters for a healthy community.

When it comes to VNS, there's always so much to write about her.

From the Herald - do as I say, not as I do! Her and Lynda are going to be great bud's on the Commission! (barf)

They will be cutting all those newsroom jobs, but they will continue to bankroll a non-local columnist (Leonard Pitts) and a blogger on gay news (Steve Rothaus). Shows you where their priorities are. Go figure.
