There is an amazing ongoing series of high resolution photos from the Boston Globe on the Gulf Oil Spill. They are very, very well done. But here is a question: why is newspaper photo essay coverage of the Gulf Oil Spill better in New England than in South Florida? I look forward to reading your responses.

Because the Chamber of Commerce doesn't like the story, for Florida tourism. Because they don't like it, it doesn't get printed.
because the paper has no reporters that know enough about this or any issue to write a substantive article. they only write gossipy fluff to sell papers
Agreed, Miami Herald should be covering this story much better. Although I think at this point SoFla will see very little, if any, effect, it drives home the need for alternative energy. Moving pictures, thank you for sharing.
