Lucie Tondreau is a force to be reckoned with in the Haitian American Community. The Biscayne Times has an excellent biographical article on Tondreau by Kathy Glasgow. I know it is excellent because I am quoted TWICE in the article. The photo on their site of her is also much better. Tondreau actually had the cohones to go after Dorrin Rolle's County Commission seat in 2002. She got the Herald endorsement and a hefty number of voters for a challenger: 7,302 to Rolle's 11,783. She is now in Nova Law School so expect to keep hearing about her.
One of my quotes they used in the article was a description of Rolle in a Jan. 1 post where I called him the:
"Blinged-up fat one"
Yep, that's me...subtle to a fault.
Anyway an update April 16, 2013. Not happy that Lucie hooked up with Swerdlow. Not happy at all.

I once saw her refuse to defend Haitians because Arthur Teele was the opponent. She even refused to enter City Hall.
Pat Wade said: I met Lucie when she ran against Rolle. She is one in a million; bright, talented, honest and tenacious. She will make an excellent attorney. You go girl!
When I saw her she was scared to death of upsetting Arthur Teele. He wanted to evict hundreds of Haitians and she refused to oppose him. As everyone knows he later shot himself in the head.
I love Lucie!
