It is amazing how everyone is connected in Miami -- arrested accountant Lewis Freeman, was the treasurer for former City of Miami Commissioner Joe Sanchez's campaign for Mayor. We could play our own version of Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon with almost anyone in Miami.

The rot is profound and truly involves so many. You don't get far without participating. It seems to be built into the very system itself.
If you want a connection I would suggest somebody look into the connection between Joe Sanchez and disgraced commissioner Angel Gonzalez' daughter. Oh yes, Miami is a small town.

An out of wedlock baby is not a crime. If it was, then I would be a criminal. It's a moral issue, one that many of us really don't care about. Paperwork does not make a family. Commitment does. Leave the babies alone and go after the real criminals.

This post is not old news, it is current. And yes, Lewis Freeman was the accountant for Joe Sanchez and Joe Sanchez was his employee for many years as a City of Miami Commissioner.
As for the Sanchez-Gonzalez affair, yes that is old news/gossip.

I always saw Joe Sanchez as a happily married family man, I cant imagine he had an affair with a fellow Commissioner's daughter much less fathered her child. These rumors are idiotic....
Rumors aren't important. Though interesting the freedman-sanchez connection. Although sadly expected.
I wish Mr.Sanchez the best of luck in life. But please, leave his family out of it.
Hard to forget Joe Sanchez being Manny Diaz's pawn and cheerleader for the $3 Billion bailout of the privately owned Marlins. Joe's grandkids grandkids will still be paying taxes to pay off that boondoggle.
