Florida is Hospitable to Nuke Plants. By Geniusofdespair

The article in Slate answers the question: How does an energy company decide where to build new facilities? According to Slate Florida helps nuke developers recover preconstruction and licensing costs.

Plants are sited in specific areas because of such things as: State laws, geography, and the disposition of the local community. They say Republicans want to build 100 new reactors by 2030.

Yes, there should be a Homestead Hall of Shame. All of the above plus a few more.

last I heard Mayor Otis Wallace was the Mayor for life of Florida City -- not Homestead.
