$1 billion for Marlins yesterday, $18 billion for FPL tomorrow ... by gimleteye

April 23, put it on your calendar. The public will have an opportunity to tell the Nuclear Regulatory Commission what it thinks about the plan to put new nuclear reactors (two of them) at Turkey Point, making the facility the largest power generator of nuclear energy in the nation. Well, what could go wrong?

Does anyone need to be reminded that the senior license holder (Top Gun) at Turkey Point recently and publicly quit because he was convinced the corporation had acted contrary to its lawful responsibilities in restarting the Turkey Point reactors after a shutdown? Do you even care?

Discuss NRC role in eventual review of FP&L's application for Turkey Point Unit 6 & 7 combined license including details of safety and environmental reviews.

Meeting Date 04/23/09
6:00PM - 9:00PM
Keys Gate Golf Club
2300 Palm Drive - Palm Room
Homestead FL

Questions: John-Chau Nguyen - Phone: (301) 415-1177
Participation Level - Category 3

NRC Participant(s) - Office of New Reactors Office of Nuclear Security and Incident Response, Region II

External Participant(s) - Public (YOU!)

Forbes did not look at our streets or our parks, they would have be overwhelmed by all the garbage and trash...We are pigs here.

If we didn't have constant breezes we would be gasping for breath, like the fish with lipstick on it.
