I thought that Obama was very restrained and his behavior was respectful.
McCain was grinny. Did I miss McCain saying that Palin was qualified to be president?
Also on CNN they had these line graphs at the bottom... It looked to be fairly constant that the womens line was high for Obama and low for McCain. Which kinda surprised me.
McCain did better than the last 2 debates, but Obama is the polish and the shine! I can't wait for this to be over so we can move on. The MSM is absolutely awful. No one explained that if Joe the plumber's business NETS more than 250,000.00 then his taxes would go up. McCain's health care plan is the scariest thing of all. To lie to the American people and say the average health care plan is 4800.00 for a family of four is inconceivable. My last question for Mr McCain and his fans - if the government is so damn awful when it comes to administering a health care plan, why don't all members of Congress decline to participate in the "goldplated" healthcare plan they get from the government and sign up as individuals - ha! Mr McCain would be lucky to find anyone willing to cover him with health insurance.
I am spending 805.00 a month for health care... (With a 2500.00 deductible in a employers plan.)
This is just for me (an older lady who is not ill or likely to get preggo without very divine intervention).
In 1995, as a small business person, I spent 36,000 a year to cover my family (4 of us) and 3 single employees with much better coverage than I am getting for myself right now.
So, Mr. McCain thinks that 5000k a year will give me and my family coverage? Don't think so.
And I am sure that that corporate America will dump that benefit the second that congress gives them the opportunity.
No matter what, I do not want to be like my Canadian friend who had wait months to have his heart failure checked out even though he was passing out regularly.
I am jealous of Ain't Quite Believin. Health care for me this year is $12,000. My employer can no longer afford it -- despite no pre-existing conditions.

Why are McCain's eyes so glossy. He looks like a pothead who put in too much Visine! lol

I can't believe he talked about women liking Palin with a straight face.
McCain appeared wild eyed - scary almost. I don't think he did himself any favors. I wouldn't have voted for him anyway, no matter how good he did.

PLEASE! No mention of "JOE --- ------" that was over done last night. It wasn't "My Friends" this time, it is now JTP.

However, the music did cheer me up!
Our health care is almost $3,000 a month. Welcome to the world of self employed!
