Farmers Barreto & Pino. By Geniusofdespair

I couldn't help it, this fit so well with SunshineUnderground's article below: A farm is a farm is a farm if I say it is.

I can't wait for the millionaires to come into Kendall to shop at BJ's, El Dorado and Ashley Furniture. We also have fine dining here too. There's Panera, Kentucky Fried Chicken (newly decorated), Burger King and McDonalds. For really fine dining we have Steak and Shake. Clothing stops include Walmart (of course), Target and K Mart. If the wife is feeling lucky, she'll hunt for housewears at Marshalls. Are they putting a Sears in that new shopping center?

I am sure our new neighbors are going to spend a lot of money here. Get in the truck, Gertrude, I am taking you for a steak burger!

The Ballad of Hillbillies Damnit (with apologies to Paul Henning) –

Krome Gold Hillbillies

Come and listen to a story about a Future Farmer
A poor land banker, barely kept his family fed,
Then one day he was shootin at some food,
And up through the ground came scattering crud.

Rock, that is. Krome Gold, South Dade’s best.

Well the first thing you know ol Farmer’s a millionaire,
Kinfolk said "Farmer move away from there"
Said "South Carolina is the place you ought to be"
So they loaded up the truck and moved to Beauford.

Mountains, that is. Ski Slopes, shooting stars, vacant land at rest.

Well now it’s time to say good bye to Future Farmer and all his kin.
And they would like to thank you folks fer kindly droppin in.
You're all invited back again to buy Dade’s rural locality
To have a heapin helpin of their hospitality

Krome Gold Ranches, Set a spell, Take your shoes off.
Y'all come back now, y'hear?.

Excuse me? That is rather strong language.

They lost, but they won.

Previous poster is right. They will start all over with BCC. If this had passed at CC11, 1, 6 and maybe 3 would have been taken out.

People need to show up for this when it happens. I just read a document that suggests Rinker pit down here will be depleted by 2014. That means there will maybe be a lot of this type of thing going on in southwestern Dade. The export of aggregate is very expensive and it skyrockets the cost. It's just the song, there is gold in that there Krome Gold application.
