This is alarming. I wonder how we can protect these plants...if at all.
Pointing out the "what ifs" and "could bes" is a part of scientific discovery. I am not a one-sided individual. I want the whole picture. The good and the bad. THEN I can make an educated choice as to what I want to expose my family and myself to.
I don't suppose that anonymous checks the accident ratings before he puts his wife and baby in the new car. I would.
That is not fear mongering. That is thoughtful and important behavior.
Why would I be any less thoughtful when it comes to putting one the nation's largest power plants in my community?
