In the 1920’s it took two hurricane seasons to wreck Florida’s economy. Floridians are asking themselves, what is on the horizon now?
On Tuesday, voters in Florida will consider a property tax “relief” measure amidst the sense that the ability to control our own destiny has been badly overtaken by events.
There is at least a trillion dollars worth of debt, tied one way or another to voters, that is of questionable value. That is important for values voters, isn't it?
Here’s a question that pollsters should ask, of voters on Tuesday: would you be ready to vote for a new president today, instead of waiting until November?
Irrespective of party affiliation, a very strong majority want leadership, now, that can truthfully explain what exactly they are seeing.

If we could vote for President tomorrow, I think most of us would. That way the nonsense would stop and we could get-on with dealing with the mess we have now. That would also give us a head start with the administration whomever they turn out to be.
