Gambling, again with those slots! by Geniusofdespair

A relative ran human tests for new drugs at a testing facility in Miami. If the tests didn't go well, they just changed the protocols. Like the iffy drugs, bad ideas never die in Miami, they just get repackaged.

On the Miami Dade County preliminary agenda for June 12, 2007 for the Vile Natacha Seijas’s Committee - Governmental Operations and Environment Committee (or as I call it: the anything important committee) - They want to call for a special election January 29, 2008 to let us vote on whether or not we want slots in Miami-Dade County. This would be the same deal they have in Broward, that is, where Broward shares the revenue with the entire State of Florida but Broward has to shoulder the burden of the gambling.

I don’t give a hoot one way or the other...but I just want to point out, it is a bad deal. The resolution is sponsored by: Moss, Barreiro, Heyman, Sosa and Souto.
See my previous post Fact Finding at Gulfstream Park.
