Miami Dade Puppet at a loss without his master, Natacha Seijas by Geniusofdespair

Miami Dade Commission Chair Bruno Barreiro is in big trouble because his puppet master is in Africa!

According to Herald reporter Chuck Rabin, New cities may avoid millions in county fees:

“A tactical error by Miami-Dade County Commission Chairman Bruno Barreiro may cost the county $11 million a year after state lawmakers voted to end fees paid by cities that were allowed to incorporate.”

Despite warning from the rest of the Commission, Bruno put off the vote until his puppet master, the Vile Natacha Seijas, was due to return from South Africa (trip on our dime?). Unfortunately for Bruno, the Florida Legislature doesn’t have just one puppet master so they were able to make a decision quickly. The Legislature would have probably not have taken up the issue if the County had acted. Lack of action angered them. But how could the County Commissioner act without Natacha pulling the strings?

The Chair of the Commission was between a rock and a hard place: and he got slammed. And, he will get slammed again when Natacha returns.

P.S. Gimleteye also wrote about this issue 1/2 way down in the post: "Friendly fire from the Miami Herald" below.

Bruno Barreiro has proven his incompetence w/o the direction of the "wicked witch" Natacha Seijas. By the way is she on safari?

It is interesting that the wild game is not located in Africa! The tag team that went to Africa are also on the loose in Miami. We need some real BIG game hunters connected to the Feds to go on a real auditing safari in Miami-Dade County. It appears that they are trying to make sure their passports are secure. Another interesting way to avoid the Sunshine laws in Florida by darting to Africa.

The Feds should check and see which prominent Miami developers happen to be in Africa, at the same time.

Speaking of trips on the taxpayer's dime, why did the City of Miami send a team to Europe. Of course this is all rumor and not fact. When the City Manager was asked to confirm that he had sent a team to Europe he advised that they would return on Thursday April 26, 2007. Larry Spring's office did advise me that Mr. Spring was at a seminar. Ms. Conway's office advised me that she would return on April 25, 2007 and return to work on the 27th. The City Attorney did personally call me to advise me that he knew nothing of any trip. The county goes to Africa, the city goes to Europe and the taxpayer's who foot the bill stay home and 'eat cake'.

It would be outrageous if it weren't so typical.
