Lennar Homes, Inc.'s Parkland is Moving Forward with 3 Lobbyists by Geniusofdespair

As of 9/15/2006, Jeffrey Bercow (photo), Michael Radell and Graham C. Penn are all registered as lobbyists for the development Parkland. They are registered under Lennar Homes, Inc. Parkland -- it is not under Ed Easton anymore.

I don’t understand why Lennar is still moving forward with this development of regional impact (DRI).

Lennar has to show the State of Florida that there is a need for housing that cannot be addressed within the boundary, to move the Urban Development Boundary. Where is the need for housing that is not being addressed? I would suppose they will call it “affordable housing” and try to slip it through that black hole.

It was reported yesterday in the Palm Beach Post, that in Florida, 19,144 homes entered foreclosure in February. Florida has the highest foreclosure rate in the nation according to the PB Post. And, today Matt Haggman reported Housing slowdown catches up to Lennar. So, why pay these 3 lobbyists the big bucks now, when, as Haggman reports, "Lennar's first-quarter profit was off by 73 percent." People will be buying up foreclosures within the UDB Line.

A little off topic.

This is a continuation of a question I posted several days ago regarding how to look into the public records.

I'm seeing the list of foreclosure from the county site:
http://www.miami-dadeclerk.com/foreclosure-sales/fcsales.aspx?SaleDate=04/12/2007

and there they make reference to Plat book/ Page and block / lot

But when I try to go to the public records search:
http://www.miami-dadeclerk.com/public-records/pubsearch.asp
and select search by "Plat book/Page" it never gave me a result.

For example from the first listing
Plat book: 148 ,page: 1 , block number: 2 and party name:Quintero

when you select search nothing happens.

So, how to correctly search using plat book/page?

thank for your help !!!!

Perhaps Lennar want to keep its people inspired. They want to appear positive, folding up shop is not an option for such a large building.
