The Mayor should be proud to see who is donating to the Anti-Strong Mayor campaign. It is all of the lobbyists and lawyers (hard to tell them apart) who got their butts kicked during the HOLD THE LINE campaign. These are not the people whose agenda is about what is best for the community. For sure they will get their butts kicked again when the Strong Mayor initiative wins overwhelmingly!
It's all the big LBA donors... Adrian Homes, now run by Brian May, Alex Penelas former Chief of Staff. And Losner, who wants to pave over every last inch of South Dade, just out of spite. He hasn't looked so good lately, that's what spite will do for you. But in the spirit of generosity, once the strong mayor initiative passes, these same names will put an infinite amount of money into the campaign for THEIR candidate. They will say, we were against the strong mayor but now that we have one, we will make sure he is OUR strong mayor.
Pat Book as in Patricia Book, Ronald Book's lovely wife, who also gives generously to local pols.
