I can't lie - I'm grateful for this economy and I don't see how it doesn't keep improving in 2018 - my sister and husband living in Manhattan said they got their biggest Christmas bonus ever
"it" on Pennsylvania (or actually most of "its" time is spent on the golf course) had nothing to do with this economy. Glad for your sister and her husband but most people in this country do not get bonuses. Before I retired I used to get bonuses every year in the private sector but that is because I was an executive. Most low to middle class people (many of whom voted for it) and even many upper middle class people do not receive bonuses and will continue not to see bonuses. They will be lucky to keep their health benefits and retirement benefits at the rate that the current kakistocracy keeps moving. Glad your rose color glasses are working for you and your family.
Too many people are dots and live in a dot world. All they know is themselves, existing day-to-day, standing still, and all they know is me, me, me! This year, we have got to try to get more people at least to the world of lines. Here at least they can move up and down the line. If not that, at least get them to conceptualize that a line world exists.
Too many people didn't pay attention to the lost decade - seems like everyone forgot the last 2 years under Bush and the entire 8 years under Obama - I'm pretty sure ATT just handed out a 1K Christmas bonus to 200K employees because of Trump - and Wells Fargo is now paying all it's employees a min of $15 per hour because of Trump - so, should we hope to go back to 5 years ago?
