Dumping AT&T After a Decade. By Geniusofdespair

The manager of the AT&T store in Pinecrest is an asshole in my opinion. He stands there doing nothing with some girl, who also works here, listing people on a wait list— while we wait, the two of them are laughing and looking at photos. I have been here 40 minutes. Why can’t he get a flunky to list incoming customers and ACTUALLY DO SOMETHING—-Like wait on us. What a lazy guy in my opinion. He just disappeared. Can’t even manage an AT&T store. Never come to this place again. An hour wait to talk for 5 minutes. On to Sprint. There is no customer loyalty here or at AT&T.

Thinking of T-Mobile any reception problems?

We are happy with t-mobile. Love their international free texting and data.

This one is sure to open a can of worms. However, I have been with Verizon for more than 14 years and am very happy.

Have you been to the ATT store in Coral Gables? Absolutely terrible customer service. Two women looked like they absolutely hated the fact my husband and I walked inside. The only smile was when we were not able to get a new phone and said okay thank you. Knowing that we were no longer a burden made woman #2 relieved. Total suck.

I agree totally about AT&T. We dumped them a couple years ago for Consumer Cellular. They are American based customer support and use ATT & TMobile towers and give great service. We pay $54 a month for two lines and enough data which rolls over if you don't use it. If you are AARP you get a discount.

It won't matter which company you choose. They all have dead zones. This is Miami, so they all have incompetent people working in their stores. Most of the stores have an employee revolving door. I would suggest trying each service in the areas you frequent the most, and see which service works best for you.

I've been a very happy T-Mobile customer for over a decade.

I know lots of people don't like Sprint but I've had them for several years with out big issues.
I've gone to the store across from the Falls by the Red Lobster several times and never had any problems. Pretty short wait times and the people working there seem to know their stuff.
That being said, I usually go in knowing what it is I want or want them to do so they don't have to do too much thinking.
