He loves our Country and is a true FIGHTER!- Trump Tweet Yesterday.Avoid this pick for Governor at all cost. Trump endorsed this Jacksonville U.S. Rep before he even announced he was running. Trump thinks he can handpick our Governor. If the Panhandle has anything to say about it, Trump probably can.
I wonder why Trump chose him? From Politico this summer:

Silver lining: Adam Putnam is toast.

DeSantis ran for Senate in 2016 before Rubio came back in and he polled nowhere. People don’t blindly follow Trump as he endorsed several candidates who failed to win their own primary. Putnam is way ahead on money and infrastructure and DeSantis’ geographic location puts him at a disadvantage. You are wasting political ammunition. Ask most Republicans here and they barely heard the name DeSantis.
Nobody knows who Putnam is either. Go to any Apple store and ask the people working there who the Governor is. 9 out of 10 don’t know. Rick Scott has been Governor 8 years, destroying our State— and they don’ know.
We should vote against any candidate recommended by Trump.
