Manafort indictment ... by gimleteye

What's going to send shivers through the White House: the dot-connecting between financial transfers and end results. If Mueller gets into the Trump tax returns, for whatever reason, it is GAME OVER.

Sadly, after the manafort and gates lawyers get involved, I bet nothing will happen. Everything here seems to be based on shuffling money around and taxes. No hints of collusion or Russian spies or anything incredibly neferious. In the long run, almost seems like a trump W

Thanks for sharing.

Watergate which was a simple break-in resulted in about 40 people going to jail.

I think both parties have been played by Russia and our democracy has been put in jeopardy because of it. I read this indictment and I see nothing connecting it to the Trump campaign. I see the bigger picture Russia has been playing in our US politics. As a proud NPA, I think a closer look in to the Clinton Foundations and that Uranium deal is warranted as well. Only a non partisan should be dealing with these investigations too.......JMHO

What is unclear to me is why Manafort even bothered to get involved with Trump. Given the large amounts of cash shown here, and the additional $60 million that they say he got from Putin people that is not covered here, why risk everything to get involved in a high visibity role with anyone running for president given that you were working hard to hide the money, and trying to avoid going to jail? Why risk everything by getting involved with Trump? It doesn't seem to make sense. The plot thickens. . . What do you all think?
