Bannon Speaks and I Wonder: Are Democrats Being Played for Fools Like the Neo Nazis and even Trump? by Geniusofdespair

Steve Bannon called the white supremacists "a Collection of Clowns" (according to CNN) in an interview he thought was off the record. "Ethnonationalism — it's losers," he said. "It's a fringe element. I think the media plays it up too much, and we gotta help crush it, you know, uh, help crush it more ... These guys are a collection of clowns."

What does Steve Bannon think of Democrats? That they can be easily thrown off course and be distracted (MANIPULATED):

Miami Herald

The New York Times outlines Bannon's Dovish side on North Korea:
Mr. Bannon’s dovish tendencies spilled into view this week in unguarded comments he made about North Korea to a liberal publication, The American Prospect. Days after Mr. Trump threatened to rain “fire and fury” on the North Korean government if it did not curb its belligerent behavior, Mr. Bannon said, “There’s no military solution here; they got us.”
“Until somebody solves the part of the equation that shows me that 10 million people in Seoul don’t die in the first 30 minutes from conventional weapons, I don’t know what you’re talking about,” Mr. Bannon said in a phone call with Robert Kuttner, The American Prospect’s co-editor.
But as far as the Democrats go:
We'll be fighting in the streets
With our children at our feet
And the morals that they worship will be gone
And the men who spurred us on
Sit in judgment of all wrong
They decide and the shotgun sings the song

I'll tip my hat to the new constitution
Take a bow for the new revolution
Smile and grin at the change all around me
Pick up my guitar and play
Just like yesterday
And I'll get on my knees and pray
We don't get fooled again
Don't get fooled again

-The Who-
It is time for leaders of the Democratic Party vying for the Presidency to step forward and make themselves known. There is an absence, a big black hole, of Democratic talking heads that are Presidential material. I want to see something surface with this witless party. They can't just watch Trump implode. So we are on "moral higher ground". So? Sew Buttons. Preparations must be made: Leadership Now!

....and our President continues to doom himself tweeting. You turkey Trump: there is No Alt-Left. Democrats: don't let that name stick. Call it out. They call themselves Anti-Fascists, don't let Trump re-brand them.

The Cleveland Clinic and the American Cancer Society are both searching for new fundraising venues after pulling their big annual galas from President Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort. The Cleveland Clinic's decision marks a reversal from its prior commitment to keep the event at Mar-a-Lago — where it has been hosted for the past eight years — despite fierce criticism of President Trump's plan to repeal the ACA and cut federal research funding. The decision from both groups to pull their fundraisers from the Florida resort comes amid increasing pressure on businesses to distance themselves from Trump after his initial failure to denounce white nationalist groups involved in the deadly violence in Charlottesville, Va.

The pity full dysfunctional US political system laid bare for all to see, warts and all.

The, "we the people" and "original founders intent" of a slave holder society engrained in the conservative Republican Party, enabling money to be a political equal voice.

The Dem Party socializing and creating a command economy with over wrought regulations, and at the same time making common cause with crony capitalism,

No wonder the US is at a stand still in intelligent governing.
I have not even touched on the blinders of recognizing the US has become the Imperial Great Britten of yore.

I think Senator Bill Nelson needs to step up now. I have watched him over the years. He does all of the heavy- lifting for the state of Florida while Rubio is absent and involved in BS. He works hard and does not do a lot of talking. He is definitely Presidential material, could clean up the mess that republicans will leave behind, and return us to dignity and our respected position in the world.

With trump shooting himself in the foot over and over again is not going by to win congress back for the democrates. Democrates need some new voices and a strong message. They should focus on jobs and helping the middle class through taxes and healthcare.
Trump seems to be handing them a victory, but democrates need to improve their message and messingers to take advantage.

Trump seems to be handing them a victory, but democrats need to improve their message and messengers to take advantage of the gap and the opportunity being handed them. The Dems squander and the Republicans reap more and more of the middle class on their incompetence.

Well, when you get right down to it, it is the Democrats that will have to put things in order. When Bush spent the surplus, got us into a war, and wrecked the economy, it was the Democrats who pulled us out. Now they are in control again, and Trump has us in the hospital. And if he stays in office four years, we may go to ICU, and may not make it out. So, the question is, "Do you want to live in a democracy or some other form of government?

Record unemployment, increasing wages, Fed predicting 3.7% GDP when we were just told that 2% growth would be excellent in the new global economy - leader of ISIS dead - no terror attacks in the US - and the media in a buzz over 200 aholes in Charlottesville - earth to the far left - the KKK and friends are statistically irrelevant no matter how hard the media tries to make them significant - I understand the Russia garbage was getting played out but find something that effects life for everyday americans

Maybe this will open people's eyes:

Drastic cuts proposed for workers aged 49 and under by H.R. 6489, the Social Security Reform Act
August 18, 2017
Rep. Sam Johnson, R-TX, the chairman of the Social Security Subcommittee of Ways and Means, has introduced H.R. 6489, the Social Security Reform Act of 2016. See Johnson’s justification. If passed, the legislation would negatively affect retirement plans for American workers aged 49 and under. The bill would lower Social Security benefits by one-third to retirees and those drawing Social Security Disability Retirement and raise their retirement from 67 to 69 years old. The bill would also cut seniors’ cost of living adjustments. On the current retirement age requirements see this CRS report.

Thanks, Republicans!

It won't go through because they can't get to fifty. Have you any idea how bad that will hit the KKK and Nazi population in America? It would devastate them. But it will be the rest of us that will stop it. All the crazy stuff they put on the table will be remembered come election time when we take back congress.
