TRUMP'S LUNACY LEADS TO A FRIGHTENING LEGACY: LOSS OF PUBLIC LAND. by Geniusofdespair

Our PUBLIC LAND is in mortal danger. Bears Ears is a National Monument consisting of 1.3 million acres.

Appointed by Donald Trump and directed by him, Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke is looking to reduce the size of 27 National Monuments, as Donald Trump asked.  I wrote about this May 24th.

The comment period for Bears Ears National Monument ended May 26th. You still have time to comment on the other parcels till July 10th.  Although it does seem that Zinke already made up his mind, still comment.  It is important.  People hear monument and think stone plaque. National Monuments actually encompass a shit load of land.

Bears Ears is a harbinger of what will happen to all our National Monument Land and I am not alone in this assessment. Interior Secretary Zinke has proposed new boundaries for Bears Ears.  According to the New York Times:
Mr. Zinke declined to quantify the exact area of the proposed smaller monument, but said that the new boundaries should be limited to "The smallest area compatible" with the the management of those sites.
Loony Trump isn't so amusing to me anymore. We are going to see Trump's legacy fracture what America is to many of us: A great scenic land. He is going to sell what every American owns to the highest bidder. Even the neo Nazi Trump followers should be angry.

Washington Post more on Bears Ear shedding land.

As Trumps Tweets:

2 million more people just dropped out of ObamaCare. It is in a death spiral. Obstructionist Democrats gave up, have no answer = resist!

Why isn't this in the Miami Herald?

As noted on a national park website: "We have fallen heirs to the most glorious heritage a people ever received, and each one must do his part if we wish to show that the nation is worthy of its good fortune." - Theodore Roosevelt

Public lands are now slated for oil drilling - fracking - and other private ventures. Scott has taken the same path. Nothing is sacred to some people.

I am driving from Florida to California and then to Chicago and I got a Senior Pass to visit all of the United States National Forests on my trip so I can see them before Trump starts drilling oil......Devastation of our Nation!!!

Seeing that cabinet of parrots praising Trump two days ago made me sick to my stomach. I wonder what Thomas Payne, Jeffesron, Hamilton, etc., would have thought of the self praising lunatic we now have as president. Just out today, 60% of Americans disapprove of the job Trump is doing. Where were they and their votes on Election Day?
