Lost my IPhone. By Geniusofdespair

Text me all you want.

IN THE DARK DAYS OF TWEETER IN CHIEF, SOMETHING GOOD HAPPENED TO ME. I FOUND MY IPHONE AT 8:47AM AFTER A NIGHT OF TERROR, SAVING ME ABOUT $600. HAS ANYTHING GOOD HAPPENED TO YOU SINCE ELECTION DAY? BTW all that "find your IPHONE stuff" didn't work. I don't have something turned on and I can't figure out what.

I'm 60 and realize that Healthcare in the US will be a bust for my husband and myself. Now we are thinking of selling our house and considering other countries with better healthcare for less money, no nukes, clean oceans, renewable energy sources, and a cheaper lifestyle. The white flag is going up and we will be moving along. If the election had gone "our way", we would probably still consider retiring in the cesspool that Rick Scott has created for us all. We'll buy a boat, live at the dock, and when the economy collapses...Adios!!! Aren't we all tired of fighting our own "elected" government to save our environment? Koch Brothers, you won. I'll be moving along now to a much brighter and better future. And that realization is something that has happened to me that is very, very good!

Please tell me where you are going I would like to take part in an enclave of like minded people. Only caveat, you need good doctors.

We're still trying to figure this out. Costa Rica, Panama, Columbia and Ecuador all have great healthcare and large communities of expats. All these countries have doctors trained in the US and the hospitals in big cities are well equipped. Google all these places and you'll see that opportunities abound. I figure we still have some time as business is good right now, but that will change as the money flows from the middle class to the upper class. We have time to explore. From what I read, many people say to housesit for a while to get the feel of a place to see if its right for you. Costa Rica can be expensive (not like SoFl expensive) and Ecuador is very cheap as the buying power of $1 is worth $4 there. In the meantime, we need to get our VERY LAME Democratic Party of Florida to do something to turn things around here, but, just in case, Latin America is looking better and better.

We are lucky that we have the value in our house to actually consider all these things, but most of our fellow citizens do not. But, just like the poor Jewish people in Europe, we can stick around and hope it gets better, or find a better place to sit this shit storm out.

It is wonderful you are able to consider escaping. But the rest of us poor chickens are going to have to endure. We watch with trepidation as Trump assembles a team of chicken killers, and well-known chefs who are experts at cooking chicken dishes. After four years of the slaughter, maybe some of us will be left standing when you return. It is nice to have left feathers in the coop when they come hunting. . .

Don't wait too long. Things have already begun to change. Once Trump is in place, it will be chaos. They need money for these programs and will have to borrow it and cut money from existing programs. Giving tax cuts to the rich means cutting your existing revenue source, and having to borrow even more money to cover the loss of money that you would have had if you kept their taxes the same. That means interest rates are going up, which is bad for selling a house. Coupled with that, once in place, removing the 11 million immigrants will leave a huge hole in the economy with ripple effects all over the place. Many will lose their jobs who don't think they are going to lose their jobs, then lose homes and property. House values will fall with the glut of houses, and high interest rates. The only hope is for the wealthy with cash to come and buy them for pennies on the dollar increasing their wealth and holdings substantially. The guy who is going to be the U. S. Treasurer is nicknamed "the foreclosure machine".

Leaving is not a luxury. You have to be willing to cut family ties. It is a way to save money.
