The Greenland Ice Cap Is Melting ... by gimleteye

The Greenland ice cap is melting. Yesterday I hiked in a parka until it go too hot and walked in a t shirt. The mosquitos are ferocious; a recent phenomenon. Before, Greenland was too cold to harbor a mosquito population. Now, there is no native bird population to keep the mosquitos down. Lakes like this are forming on top of the ice cap. One way or another, the melting waters of Greenland are finding their way to the sea.

Ironic that the effects of mankind in polluting the atmosphere, that is reducing the ice, is resulting in exposing more land for oil drilling, that will create more pollution, to help melt more ice.

OMG the SKY is falling.. We are all gonna DIE! (But if you pay a few rubles to the democratic carbon tax god you will be saved!).

Really get over it, our fault, gods fault or the Republican's fault, seas rise and fall all the time. How hubris of us to think this millennium's the Goldilocks of level and we should sacrifice all now to keep it just right..

How about we take all the scrubber off the coal plants remove the catalytic converters and create our own nuclear winter again That should cool things off enough for the icebergs..
