Today was Urban Development Boundary Vote Day. By Geniusofdespair

Green City was denied. At first it was 5 to 5 to deny and transmit to Tallahassee. Application 8 was deferred till Dec. 7th.

Laura Reynold's  of Tropical Audubon reported:

"Even after GREEN CITY bussed 50 people out in support of the project to destroy hundreds of acres of farmland that is a critical buffer and recharge zone for the Everglades...The commission did the right thing!  Thank you to commissioners Sosa, Levine-Cava, Edmundson, Suarez and Moss for your support.

Next UDB challenge is continued until Dec 7th at 11am, please plan on attending--- we need help to defeat application 8!"

Also, Ludlam Trail is a go!! Rebeca Sosa did a good job as did the citizen activists. There will be 6 story buildings at the nodes (Main Streets) raising the trail above the road.

Thanks for the up-date--Heard you were there, but left mid-day. It takes a lot of effort to get down town--job, family, farm, ranch, & responsibilities, but hearing Horse Country's victory & Application 7
was pleasing. Eye-On-Miami is a great asset in this county.
Thanks, millions.
