I am beginning to think Hillary Clinton is the wrong candidate for the Dems. She is just not likable enough and she can't seem to get out from under her baggage like Bill could easily do. She isn't exciting anyone. Her speeches are stiff. Elizabeth Warren is the last hope for the Dems. My diehard Dem friends all want Bernie and some of them are women and young voters. He is just too old. While everyone is dicking around with the Don I see big trouble for the Dems with what should be a walk in the park election.
Democrats: There is an elephant in the room and it is Hillary Clinton. Address it, damn it!
P.S. Martin Karp you can't win against Debbie. Give up the notion.

Nor can Alan Grayson win the Senate seat.
DW-S may be vulnerable. While she is the darling daughter-like goddess of the predominatley Jewish ultra liberal voters in her district, her stand on the Iran deal ( read: against Israel) could be hammered home enough to hurt her. You are right, though, Karp cannot win but solely because he ia a man and a man cannot campaign against a woman. However, a woman can.
Hillary can't pass the muster. Or the mustard for that matter.
Good question. Hilary makes Biden look good.
Michael Bloomberg is my choice regardless of his party de jure.
Hillary is currently rehearsing how to be more spontaneous.
I don't agree that Bernie Sanders is too old. Maybe that's because I'm 75. Voters are flocking to his rallies. He is speaking the truth and we have been waiting for that. Obama speaks the truth for the most part and I'm sorry that he can't stay on longer.
Personality and youth do not a president make. I am thrilled that the Republicans don't have any good candidates. All are mediocre and Trump is nothing but a blowhard. Whoever our candidate is, he will be facing someone far inferior in every way. There is no Republican truly qualified to be President.
Relax and start reading the five thirty eight blog more. The Donald and Bernie are early race favorites that will fade. Hillary's likability numbers for Dems and Independents is way high enough to get her the nomination handily and win the overall election against anyone from the GOP field. This horse race has a long way to go, don't pay so much attention to this silly season. Media needs ratings and the sensational stories are how they are keeping people interested.
This is ridiculous to assess Hilary on "like ability" not intellect or experience. It's sexist. Don't get distracted by shallow media analysis and coverage.
It is sexist to not like Hillary? I am a woman and I have always disliked Hillary. She is chomping at the bit to go to war with Iran. Listen to her talk about beginning with distrust. Remember her mid-east nuclear shield comments from 2008? I can't vote for her, not even by holding my nose. Yes, it means the Republicans win in 2016 and we have President Jeb!. The Democrats will go down holding out a piece of paper with those poll numbers sputtering in disbelief. The final (I hope) blow to the Village idiocy in Washington.
I meant Middle East.
Don't worry about not liking Hilary. A lot of women don't like her. The only thing that I trust Hilary to do is fight to keep the rights that women in the past fought so hard for--Right to Choose, Health Care, Equal Pay for Equal Work. The neanderthal republicans want women back in the kitchen cooking and fetching for their husbands. How any woman can vote for a republican is beyond me. But Hilary is my last choice.
Bernie is not too old to run. He may choose to only be a one term president but that is enough for me. He will make clear, educated choices for the Supreme Court and will hopefully pick good, experienced people for his cabinet.
Joe Biden is also better than Hilary.
There are so many people from both sides that are totally fed up with what is going on in Washington that if Bernie can get the correct definition of socialism understood by the undecided in the electorate, he can win.
A lot of people "liked" George Bush, preferred to go be at a barbecue with Bush over Gore. And look where that got us. The election coverage is BS and so are the voters who would base their votes on who's good company at a barbecue. Let's not go there again. Let's talk about the candidates positions, education, experience and history.
I recommend Bernie Sanders for USA look what great things socialism has done for my country. Please don't pay any attention to those pesky ingrates who leave my island paradise on anything that floats.
