Let's be clear: The election for County Commissioners is NOT in November. IT IS IN AUGUST, August 30, 2016 (when most of you are away somewhere, thinking this is only a primary). Democrats: you must not think of this as a primary. Get an absentee ballot and vote.
Actually why bother to vote. Unless you register as a Republican there is no need to vote because these county commissioners will have too much money to give anyone else a chance.

We hope all these commissioners vote No on Pepe Diaz's proposed bill to legalize LED billboards. No voters want to be harassed by sleazy TV sets on poles.

An example of an over-the-top LED sign is owned by Westchester Medical Center on Coral Way. Vehicles coming off of the 826 going East get blasted in the face with bright light. It seems that the only way to make this nuisance go away is by a law suit due to a tragedy.
