Saying goodbye to Lynda Bell. By Geniusofdespair

Lynda Bell at October 7 2014 Commission Meeting. Heck, I will miss that pointing finger.

Lynda Bell is now a consultant according to her business card. On what I don't know.

I heard something disturbing which I assume is NOT true, that when Ms. Bell was fundraising she warned potential donors that if they did not give to her campaign, they would get nothing passed in her district.  I know that can't be true because that would be illegal, like blackmail or something. I don't think she would do that even though I heard it from a few people. Maybe she warned them in jest? Does this really go on?

Anyway, the latest is that Lynda would like to be on the school board. She is not in Curbelo's  district where the seat will open up, but maybe, if the governor appoints, he can do someone out of district. Don't know the law on this matter. I also heard Lynda won't help Daniella Levine Cava in her transition. No burying the hatchet here. I guess I am still on her shit list too.

If I were Lynda Bell I would move up the coast. She could win a seat easily in Melbourne. Even though Lynda called me "pure evil" (shouting it across a parking lot at the polling place in Palmetto Bay with voters around)  I wish her the best as long as she is not making our laws. Lynda has said she is blessed with many grandchildren (another one just born) I am sure that can fill the gap.

Hasta la vista Ms. Bell. You won't be missed!

Good riddance. Time for us to move on.

In terms of early voting, North Dade Regional Library is now number 1 with 5,755 votes, followed by number 2 West Dade Regional Library with 5,469 votes, and number 3 is North Miami Regional Library with 5,281 votes.

We still have three days of early voting left.

Her & Shiver both need to move out of Homestead and stop messing with public policy/government contracts. They haven't figured out a way to make a living without public money.

She would never hesitate to wag that finger and make such a threat. And that, my friends is a good enough reason for her not to hold ant public office ever again.
I bet she goes to work for lobbyist Jorge Lopez.

The only good thing about Lynda Bell was that she realized a vast majority of County employees were way overpaid. She realized the taxpayers were getting screwed by excessive pay and benefits to a vast majority of fire and police union members. (Not the new hires but the older dead wood types...). Needless to say the unions did not want their scam disclosed to the public. We hope Ms Cava keeps her eyes open and that she does not let the unions push her around.

Here's a question, as long as she is considering a run for public office, whether School Board or Florida Legislature, can she hold on to her rather massive campaign treasure chest?

Lynda Bell member of school board. Well Larry Feldman is our representative. She will never beat Feldman.
Dr. Feldman did contribute to Lynda's campaign now she may run against him. This is typical backstabbing Lynda Bell. Move on Lynda. Maybe try for run against Holly Radshine. LOL

Rumor is Police are getting a big raise and the regular employees are angry and betrayed.

Palin / Bell for President and VP! That's the ticket for a better America!

She wouldn't be in Feldman's district. She would be APPOINTED by the governor for the vacated district. Doesn't she only have a high school diploma and a few credits at a community college?

Should he win the election, I can't see Charlie Crist appointing Ma Bell.

I thought she had a GED

Didn't you know in FL you don't even have to have a GED to be appointed to any leadership position here. From college president to teacher, all you need is the right connections. No credentials necessary.

I am sorry, but I know that how to make my own diplomas ... and that is cheaper than the actual college.

At least Lynda Bell was smart enough to catch on that high taxes and fees are because most of the 26,000-27,000 County employees are overpaid. Not all, but most. Xavier Suarez understands also. Xavier is proposing a pay cap of $150,000 for all employees, except certain attorneys and perhaps certain scientists. Carlos Gimenez is a 40 year government tenure beneficiary of overpaying and over benefiting employees, so he compounds the problem.

Just can't resist saying , I know of one person that if she could still speak would be saying "See Lynda what happens when you hurt others. Elaine Navarre has a better place to live now and doesn't have to worry about getting her money back. She's not looking for another job either, Thank God. Yes maybe Lynda Bell will move on, but I doubt it....

Lynda Bell is a nasty piece of work. Once she lost she should have resigned and let the other commissioners appoint Daniela Cava to finish the term.

I am not saying good bye to Lynda, I am saying good riddance.

I, too, heard the rumor about the school board appointment. The current school board members are not thrilled. She is definitely not qualified for a school board position.

And oh how lucky (NOT) that she’s moved up to Northwest Florida and is starting some major crap with the police chief here!!!
