Picture of the Day: Purple Heart Men. By Geniusofdespair
Bob Bohm, (Eugene Flinn not a Purple Heat Recipient) and Bob Messer
Palmetto Bay Resident Bob Bohm, served in World War II, finally became a recipient of the purple heart on August 24, 2014. He is introduced to Bob Messer (Vietnam purple heart recipient) by Eugene Flinn, candidate for Mayor of Palmetto Bay. The two purple heart recipients had a lot to say to each other.
Mr. Bohm had been waiting a very long time to receive his honor - 70 years. He is now 93. His paperwork was lost in a fire.
August 24th 2014. Bob Bohm gets his purple heart.

How wonderful to see these gentleman together!
The families are blessed to have had the Veterans return from horrible conflicts to live long and fruitful lives. :)
Fluff? I guess you had to be there to see the meeting of these two men from different wars with a common bond talking. I didn't see any fluff. I saw only bravery.
Gene and Shelley are Democrats Peter is a right winger pretending to be whatever the voter in front of him is Patrick is an NPA with the support of the Christian Coalition Cindy Lerner has no election this fall and her city is not in the jurisdiction of the outgoing, vindictive, soon to be ex-county commissioner.

It was a privilege to meet and have the opportunity to speak with Mr. Bohn. He is a very special person.
Flynn looks great. He has done so well with his bike riding. Should inspire all of us to hit the bike trails.
Durn automatic correct
Fluff photo up piece. I expect better from eom. Where did Flynn get his purple heart?
The article clear states that he is not a purple hear recipient. Learn to read before you criticize.

The candidate knew both and introduced them.
I am shocked that any veteran would support a leftwinger like Flinn.
Putz
Shelley left Daniella in the lurch. She was too much of a coward to be out front like Cindy Lerner and Judy Waldman. She is a Republican, no?
We don't reveal a candidates party in a non partisan race. Chalk these comments up to campaign workers. Stop!
