I went to the the sandbar near Haulover inlet and got jellied but good. And yes, in a pinch, pee does seem to work. I have a black and blue mark on my knee where I got the worst of it. I would say they were the size of a dinner plate. Watch out.  I had my mask on and couldn't keep up with their location. they kept hitting me.
