Wonder if Walmart will rehire Lynda as a cashier? I mean it's not like she can be trusted with other peoples money

A few predictions and observations:
As of now, Bell's home precinct is very quiet. The only person there a few minutes ago was Steve Mainster,a long time farmworker advocate, sitting out on the entrance corner next to his Daniella sign. He has been out there everyday of early voting. If he has the ear of Daniella, you can be sure it will be harder for farmers to farm in deep South Dade and this will allow the developers an excuse to build more, more, more as farming continues to decline. When she holds office, Levine-Cava better look at the big picture rather than just continue to promote her liberal ideology. She may be smart but the builders, developers and their lobbyists are far more cunning than she. Yes, I said when she wins. Bell is her own worst enemy and having the cops and firefighters actively working against you, guarantees the race is a lost cause. There was a comment yesterday on another EOM entry about how Lynda should have taken the time to reflect on her loss in Homestead and this coming loss will be another opportunity. For those of us who know her, I say fat chance ! In her mind she is never wrong and the loss is always the fault of someone else. Her campaign, and I include the PAC's and ECO's, have done things and said things that if done and said to her would send her into orbit. Its always the do as I say, not as I do mentality. However, Daniella has not done a great job of promoting herself or talking in specifics and she sunk to the tit for tat mail contest. I am deeply concerned about her coded talking points such as being proud to be a "community organizer", "fair share", "mixed income neighborhoods" and "creating equality". What do you mean, Ms Levine? Boosting the minimum wage is in effect a tax on consumer. This cost will be passed on to us and not absorbed by the seller of goods and services. I challenge her to come to Homestead where once great neighborhoods have been degraded by subsidized housing and free money to buy in a neighborhood way above that which one has earned. I know she is insulated in her million dollar neighborhood but what about those of us who have made the down payment and paid the mortgage for years only to have our values degraded by social policy that gives to those who have not earned ? BTW, she needs to learn that Judy Waldman is not a team player or the person to have on your transition team. She never met a development proposal she did not vote for nor a develper or lobbyist whose arm she could not twist for a donation to her now defunct not for profit that has NEVER made public accounting for the where its money wrestled from those who do business with the city has gone. Once Bell is out of office, her daughter the cop will quietly leave Sweetwater and the position the other one enjoys at Turkey Point will likely be phased out. The Redland Hotel will be shuttered and the mortgage holder will let it fall into disrepair and it will burn down. With the new City Hall being built across the street, the land may have some value.

All of you: this is the election in district 8 it is not just the primary. With two nonpartisan candidates it's the election. There is no second chance in November. So get out there and vote!

As a republican I am voting for Daniella today. Even though I don't agree with all of her policies I know where she stands and I hope and pray that her strong character and morals are not corruptible by the politic in Miami Dade County.
