Daniella Levine Cava Delivers Petitions to Elections Department |
In a sign that Daniella Levine Cava's campaign has the growing support of District 8 residents, the campaign today submitted over 1,200 petitions to the Miami-Dade Supervisor of Elections to place Daniella Levine Cava's name on the ballot. In addition to the petitions collected, the campaign announced it raised $54,000 in March, bringing its total raised to over $250,000 in fewer than 90 days. You go girl! For a non-incumbent those numbers are unbelievable.
To qualify by petition you need 1% of the registered voters. There are about 110,000 voters in District 8.
OMG wait Daniella, Lynda Bell, your opponent, is inside waiting to commandeer those petitions. I blew up the photo and saw her!

Great News for District 8.
She will poison you with the pink slime she voted for in County Food!
Go Girl Go!!!!!
If she wins she will help every County resident.
She is competent, honest, and truly civic-minded.
"She is competent, honest, and truly civic-minded"
So when have those qualities ever got you elected in Miami Dade?
I hope she wins but ...
She is very smart...
but when has that mattered to M-D voters?
Everyone needs to sign those petitions.... they are democracy in action.
You go girl!!
She brings hope.
She will raise taxes and vote pro-union. yahoo taxpayer beware.
Congrats to Daniella and her team. She is a great sign of hope, for people in District 8 and beyond!
Very well done. She truly is the best thing that has happened to District 8....
We hope to see Daniela knocking on doors and meeting District 8 voters. Bell will pull some dirty tricks in the last 4-6 weeks of the race.
Go Daniella!
