State Rep Erik Fresen up to no good AGAIN. Vote him out! By Geniusofdespair

You know how I always depict Erik Fresen with bright white teeth? Isn't this ironic, That his office is located next to a giant tooth? It is a sign to vote him out of office. I did not photoshop - real photo.
According to the Miami Herald:

Remember that school voucher bill thought to be on life support?

The proposal was given a second chance on Wednesday, thanks to a procedural maneuver by a state representative.

Many observers thought the proposed expansion of the school voucher program was off the table after Sen. Bill Galvano withdrew the Senate version of the bill (SB 1620) last week. Without a companion in the upper chamber, the voucher bill in the House (HB 7099) stood virtually no chance of becoming law.

But late Wednesday, Rep. Erik Fresen combined the voucher language with a separate bill creating education savings accounts for children with special needs. That bill (HB 5103, now PCB EDAS 14-03) has a counterpart being considered in the Senate (SB 1512), and is thus still in play.

Fresen, R-Miami, said it made sense to combine the proposals.

Erik has got to go, his relatives are big charter schools owners...he is self serving -- helping his relatives -- and his teeth are much too bright. Kick him out people. He is up for reelection. Don't any of you think when you vote? Do you just want to make millionaires of the relatives of your representatives, because that is what you are doing with your vote. How many times do I have to write about this guy before you get it?

I have no doubt that those giant white choppers are caps. They look very fake and odd.

It reminds me of those old men who dye their hair and beards jet black instead of a more natural salt and pepper look. Don't they realize how silly they look?

Those choppers are real! I've known him since school!

so give up the name of the Representative (can we guess) who gave CPR to the voucher bill. That bill will ultimately cost municipalities because the vouchers are paid for from sales tax. I drive by private schools and faith based schools advertising that they take the vouchers. no more separation of church and state and lets use tax payer dollars to support the private school business. We should all open one.

The Anti-Defamation League has condemned Rep. Fresen's bill and implored him to withdraw it.

Let me tell you about another side of the voucher story.

I am a social worker, LCSW and gave worked with at-risk minority children for over 20 years. Recently, I have been able to secure vouchers to Catholic parochial schools for several African-American children who reside in minority urban communities.
The benefits are amazing. The children are excelling in most subjects. The parents are extremely happy. And an unexpected benefit has occurred, the "voucher" children and the "paying" children have integrated in a most beautiful way. The students and their families are getting together for games and picnics, some have even invited each other to their homes.
I would bet, that these children benefitting from vouchers and the white children from parochial schools will form bonds that will not be easily broken.

His family members are indeed getting richer, as is Gimenez family members only because of their connection and nothing else

This Republican in Fresen's district ALWAYS crosses party lines to vote for his opponent.

Is there a decent candidate that can beat him?

Anon with parochial school voucher positive experience, save yourself some aggravation this blog is for rabid tree hugging, library card bearing liberals. Everyone else has to callarse (SHUT UP)or face the wrath of G.O.D.!

That said I see ONE HUGE PROBLEMA with vouchers that it injects the states money and by extension influence into private schools. Liberals mistakenly (remember the golden rule) see it the other way around.

But Liberals and Conservatives agree on one thing Erik is too slick for his and our own good.

Please G.O.D. some of your readers (not I) were tortured by being forced to memorize their bible qoutes.

The least you can do is qoute that icon of proper social behavior and ettiquette (especially in dark and dingy xxx theaters) pee wee herman correctly

"I know you are but what am I"
You can just feel the gravitas oozing from that statement.
