I want to hear about District 8, not her former non profit. I want to know how she's going to make these jobs appear because Bell says the same thing! I agree with the last anon and no, I don't support Bell.
There are Lynda supporters commenting... The nature of blogs. Why would you not want to hear what a candidate has done that was a success? You are nuts.
Yes, it's an advertisement. So what. Meriam Webster defines advertisement as:
: something (such as a short film or a written notice) that is shown or presented to the public to help sell a product or to make an announcement : a person or thing that shows how good or effective something is
This ad certainly shows how good and effective Daniella is. And it's accurate.
she has my vote, that of my family, friends and neighbors. while I'm not in the political scene, I have never seen or heard more excitement about an election like I have I this one. the county so needs more people like Daniella and a whole lot less of people like Lynda Bell.
jeal·ous·y [jel-uh-see] 1. jealous resentment against a rival, a person enjoying success or advantage, etc., or against another's success or advantage itself. 2. mental uneasiness from suspicion or fear of rivalry, unfaithfulness, etc., as in love or aims. 3. vigilance in maintaining or guarding something. 4. a jealous feeling, disposition, state, or mood.
Linda, I'm for hire when looking for a writer for your concession speech.
Daniela Cava showed up at the AIA offices and event space at 100 NE 1st Avenue Tuesday night to listen to disgraced ex-Mayor Manny Diaz and several other speakers. 125 people aged 20 to 60 people attended. Most were 20's and 30's. Daniela was the only candidate who bothered to attend. No elected officials bothered to show support to Diaz. Good for her. She shows up. She listens.
Daniella is currently on a Spanish-language live program,1080 AM - Radio Luz, a Christian station. I'm listening to her right now.
-She was brought to the program by Police Union Chief, John Rivera -She spoke Spanish very well, however she giggled through the entire interview. -When asked how long she's lived in the District in which she's running, she said, "muy poco" - very little -She said she has raised over $250,000 -She said her fundraising was being coordinated by, Andrew Nelson and Christian ______
-She said her mission is: Vision, Integrity and Results
Disgraced ex-mayor Manny Diaz began in office inheriting $140 Mil in Reserves. When Diaz left eight years later he left a deficit of $120 Mil and the City flirting with bankruptcy. . Regalago was left to pick up the pieces. The taxpayers have paid almost $2 Mil in legal fees defending Diaz and disgraced ex-City Manager Pete Hernandez and others from the SEC. Diaz's vision might include prison.
Last commenter ( not printed) I suggest that you call the Cava Campaign Office and have the discourse you want about your opinion of the video. This is not the place.
The Securities and Exchange Commission continues its investigation of ex-Mayor Manny Diaz. Shady bond deals. Lying to investors. Sleazy accounting. All while Diaz was in charge.
Daniela Cava has the votes of almost everyone who reads this blog. (Linda Bell will probably vote for herself). Unfortunately almost none of us live in Dist 8. So Daniela must meet Dist 8 voters.

The woman is so articulate in contrast to what we have now.
Does nothing for me.

political advertisement paid for and approved......
It's an in kind contribution similar to the recent Good Government Initiative pleas fostered by the supposed goody two shoes Sorenson.
Jeez, Lynda...get back to work!
OK Im conservative and this hit the mark with me. Good piece.

Manny Diaz is probably radioactive as he is still being investiagted by the SEC for various issues. He was boss of Miami.
Democrats don’t create jobs…..they destroy them.

Manny Diaz at least had vision. Regalado is a pot hole filler.
I had not realized how awesome this candidate is. I will vote for her. She would be terrific on the commission. She wouldn't be voting for pink slime.

I can see the City of Miami from my house.

Daniella is Bell's worst nightmare.

Go Daniella
