This case has been carrying on since 2002 or so when he was first cited. He has avoided paying fines, used up the tax payer dollars by continually getting court continuances, appealing, filings, etc. When will it stop and when will he pay the fines and repair the damage that he has done. It is incredible that an elected official would break the law and get away with it.
TO SEARCH FOR RER-DERM PERMITS/RECORDS ONLINE . The Department of Regulatory and Economic Resources has placed permits and other records online for review by the general public via the internet. If you know the permit number, then you may find the file in which you are searching for. If the permit number is not known, then you may find the records by an address query. These files are available for printing at your leisure by following the steps below: Step 1: Open your internet browser on your computer and in the address bar type: www.miamidade.gov/development/online-services.asp Step 2: Scroll down to the fourth paragraph towards the top of the page where the paragraph is titled “Environmental Public Records” and click on link. Step 3: Read the disclaimer page and if you accept the terms of the search scroll down and click on “Accept”. Step 4: You are now logged onto emPOWER. Here you will click “Library Search”. Step 5: Click on the last link “One Time Permits”.
From there the base file can be found if you enter CE10-082 in the file number box. The EQCB files are separate and can be found if you enter 3350350010180 in the folio box. Step 6: The Display Search Options allow one to query based on information on the file regarding the source. For example to search for your permit based on the permit number, first go to Workgroup Type and keep the “=” as the operator field and scroll to the right to select “IW5” (or your permit program code). Below, on the Workgroup Number row, keep the “=” as the Operator filed and enter your permit number while omitting any zeros before the first significant number (for example: enter 5039 if permit says 005039). Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on “Start Search”. Step 7: This page displays the files that are stored on the Electronic Data Management System (EDMS) at DERM for a particular record. Be aware that if you query with an operator field that has the word “Contains”, then this page will display all items that contain the variable in which your query was based on (Example: a query that contains the number “33” will display records that contain the number 33 for item by which you queried). Step 8: Place a check in the box for the file that you wish to have displayed and then click on the “open folder” icon to the right and the documents will appear in the next screen. Be sure that you have selected to file that you want based on the “Document Type” or “Document Date” as there may be more than one document available. Step 9: Click on document you wish to view.
